Quick answers
What does an invisible grill cost in India?
As of mid-2026, professionally installed invisible grills range from roughly ₹95 to ₹400+ per square foot, with genuine SS316 systems typically at ₹130–250. The spread comes from wire grade, wire thickness, coating quality and city. See the full price guide.
Are invisible grills actually invisible?
No — and any seller claiming so is overselling. The 2–3 mm wires are clearly visible up close and faintly visible from a few metres. What they preserve, unlike bars or mesh, is the open view and airflow. The beginner's guide covers the honest visual reality.
Are they safe for children?
A properly installed system with 50 mm wire spacing and correct tension is designed so a child cannot squeeze through or climb it easily. But installation quality decides everything, and no grill replaces supervision. Read the parent's guide and our review of the safety evidence.
Invisible grill or safety net?
Nets cost roughly a tenth as much and are often the right answer for a pigeon problem. For child and pet fall protection at height, tensioned steel is a different class of barrier. Our honest comparison shows exactly when each wins.
